SINGLE BLEND WHISKY 2024
Combining our most desired whiskies in one calendar year creates a depth of flavour hard to find in other blends. This is the meeting of our malt and grain, French and American oak casks, and the exquisite quality of spirits from one single distillery in the heart of Calgary, Bridgeland Distillery.
Still: Custom-designed traditional Copper Pot Still
Base: Rue Whisky, Single Malt whisky & Taber Corn Whisky
Distillation: Small-batch, 2x distilled
Without additives, colouring or chill filtration.
Nose:
Bold and spicy with white pepper, clove, and nutmeg rising from charred oak. Orange peel and white peach brighten the aroma, while wheat, bran, ginger, and tobacco add warmth and rustic depth.
Palate:
Rich and structured with marzipan, black pepper, and licorice. Prickly ginger and caramelized sugars mingle with demerara, honeycomb, and a slightly chalky texture that adds grip.
Finish:
Long and warming with lingering spice, toasted oak, and a slow fade of honeyed sweetness.
